What can be made by extrusion?

Among the most common products we can find extrusion, plastic films, tubes and hoses, decorative profiles, high- and low-density polyethylene products.

Some examples of products that are made by extrusion:

Coatings for cables and hydraulic tubes: By extrusion we can protect them from external elements that could shorten its service life. That’s the reason PVC, PUR and TPE coatings are used around it.

Profiles and furniture mouldings: There are several types of mouldings, there are edge banders, gaskets, corners, jambs, skirting boards. They are used to protect and give a uniform appearance to furniture; usual material is PVC.

 LED strips and luminaires: Useful for the lighting and decoration of any space, a very clear example of the use of lighting profiles are the caps for the bulbs. They can be manufactured in various materials, such as PC, PMAA, ABS or PS.

Weatherstripping and gasketing: Is a type of profile used for coating doors and windows to close interiors tightly. The most recurrent material for its manufacture is PVC, TPU, TPV, flexible PVC, rigid PVC.
