Thermoplastics coloration process.

For the coloration of the thermoplastic materials we use masterbatch.

The masterbatch is pigments or additives in pellet form inside a resin.

In the feeding zone of the extruder is carried out the mix of raw material with the master, the percent of master changing depending on the color of the finished product, oscillating between 0,5 and 2%.

The color used may change depending on the customer's needs, such as his corporate image and aesthetic preferences. In some cases, if the product is for food contact use, we should use special masters with low migration to the product.

We were able to give our material different effects on the material (pearly, metallic, wood, etc.) and tonalities (pastel, translucid, opaque, etc.) thanks to our master suppliers.
