Who we are

SCT-STRAW is a company specialising in plastic extrusion, set up in 1985 with the aim of bringing fresh energy and a new approach to a sector undergoing vigorous growth.

SCT-STRAW a family company has now a depth of experience which makes it a world leader in automotive and food sector (Lollipop stick).

Currently SCT-STRAW has a staff of approximately 80, of whom 10% are fully qualified Engineers.

In order to achieve the greatest efficiency in the services we provide, SCT-STRAW is firmly committed to quality. SCT-STRAW is certified as meeting the ISO 9001 standard, and complies with the requirements of the IATF 16949 standards for the automobile sector.

SCT-STRAW’s support for sustainability and the care of the environment is a distinctive feature of the company. Over 10 years ago SCT-STRAW was one of the first companies to be awarded the EMAS certificate, testifying to our compliance with the standards set in environmental legislation.

Our priority is research and the development of new products and for this reason we devote 5% of our annual budget to R&D&i.
